Barrhead Centennial Museum
5629 49 St Barrhead, Alberta
Originally established in 1906, Barrhead’s position as a major trade center on the historic Klondike Trail gave it a significant role in the settlement of northwestern Alberta. Our season begins in May with our Annual Car Run on the long weekend or one week after. With over 65 Antique and Classic cars our Car Run is a perennial favourite. Each June we have Seniors day, tied in with Senior’s week. Each July we present a Children’s Day, featuring different selected cultures and demonstrations of activities associated with them.
Our collection displays the diversity of industry in the Barrhead region and the artifacts representing the lifestyle of residents.
