Originally established in 1906, Situated along the historic Klondike Trail, the Barrhead area played a significant role in the settlement of northwestern Alberta. The museum’s extensive collection features artifacts related to early settler history and pioneer life. The archives complete the collection with newspapers, photographs, maps and memorabilia. Open 10:00am-5:00pm Tues.-Sat, from June 1st to the Labour Day long weekend.
