Experience small town hospitality at its best. Fort Assiniboine’s Annual Hamlet Hoedown Rodeo is a favorite event for both locals and visitors. The third weekend of every August is when the Fort Assiniboine Hamlet Hoedown and Wildrose Rodeo is held.  Events get underway Friday evening, followed up by the annual Hamlet Hoedown Parade the Saturday morning.  The event is hosted in Walsh Park in Fort Assiniboine. It includes farmers’ markets, concessions, a rodeo dance, a fantastic fireworks display, cowboy church services and much more.  It’s an action packed weekend of family fun!  Visit Woodlands County for more information.
