Freeman River Campground, just 16 km south of the town of Swanhills on Hwy 32, is a quiet escape from daily life. Ten unserviced sites serve to provide you with camping basics, as well as a water pump in the campground. Reservations are not accepted.

For a true stay in nature’s backyard, Freeman River Campground is the place for you. Ten primitive sites allow the camper to truly experience nature’s beauty. With canoeing and fishing permitted on the nearby Freeman River, this campground promises to be a perfect escape into relaxation. ATV trails are also nearby for your enjoyment. Sorry, we do not accept reservations. The campground has also been under expansion; but all sites are still available for campers.
