Located just 90 minutes northwest of Edmonton on Hwy 33 North, and just 5 km from Fort Assiniboine. Reservations accepted (and recommended on holiday weekends).

Located just 90 minutes northwest of Edmonton on Highway 33 North, Freeman River RV Park is a great get-a-way for the whole family. Just 5 km from the Hamlet of Fort Assiniboine in Woodlands County, we are close to the towns of Barrhead, Westlock and Swan Hills in North Central Alberta. You can camp at one of over 30 powered sites either for the night, weekend, or week. We are a quiet, family-friendly, privately owned and managed RV Park surrounded by mature spruce and aspen trees adjacent to the Freeman River. Bring your fishing and golfing gear, as well as your swimsuits to enjoy the numerous river activities for all ages. Whether you have a tent or a large motorhome, we have experience with all types of RV’s, tents, campers and will personally help you select a site that suits your needs.
